You can turn attic space into a master bedroom for you or a visiting couple. The room theme should be selective. You never want your guest to get weary and woozy from sparkling colors. I have my personal bedroom on top of my house floor. I'm so fortunate to have my bedroom in the attic. I use soft fabric materials and confess I have somewhat of a dull theme. It's up to you, the bedroom theme reflects your personality so it is necessary to choose your own theme, one that best suits you.

Master Bed room Decor

As I mentioned above, the theme always matters. If you're using your attic space for a master bedroom, you might want to do something neutral. Not to wild, and not boring. The furniture you're using should be relatively simple. A dressing table could be in one corner. The color should match the bed's color. If you use carpet, the color should match with the curtain's color. Window blinds should be in a light color, keeping in mind other matching material. Put a sleeper in another corner, maybe a small fridge and an extra mirror on the wall. Lastly you can place a chair and coffee table in front of a window.

See if you have enough space in the attic for your exercise room! You can place your gym equipment in the attic. Be sure that the equipment isn't too heavy though. Attic space can provide you with a healthier environment and more privacy than your main floor or basement. Anybody can walk by a downstairs window and see what's going on in the room, but only people that you've invited in will be in your attic.

The gable walls gorgeously hold up shelves and custom cabinets in a fine arrangement. Actually my home engineer was concerned about extra storage; therefore, he used the under eave wall space by constructing a knee wall. The height of the knee wall is about 4 feet and it is away from the exterior wall. The knee wall cuts off the angular slope of the roof at its lowest point. This knee wall offers a flat shelf space to hold up boxes. He made 3 shelves for storage by constructing this knee wall. Don't put very heavy boxes on your fixtures. Using heavy boxes on crown of your furniture can cause damage. I have tucked my daily newspaper into the shelves. I'm happy to have this kind of shelving that gives me more storage space.
