Work
Radiant heat is source of heating energy that travells in all directions. In USA people are more consious about the hardwood flooring. They're searching for best radiant heat tubing installation tips before and during the installation of heat tubing with hardwood flooring. I personally visited lot of places and checked out hundreds of radiant heat tubing where wood flooring involves tubing in concrete and tubing under plywood subfloors. Here we will discuss the working of the radiant heating system.
What is radiant heat?
Radiant heating does not heat air directly as do more conventional forms of heating, such as baseboard convectors or forced air circulation. Radiant heat is "omni-directional". Unlike warm air, which tends to rise, radiant energy tends to travel in all directions.

Working of radiant heating
Radiant heating is a source of energy. We can eaisly get the radiant heating zone by installing the radiant heating system on the floor surface. A radiant system substance of heat, it works on energy heating. A radiant system commonly used for floor heating purpose.
It can works with hardwood flooring as well as concrete slab. Containing electric cables and small tubes of hot water, these tubes fixed under a concrete floor or may be lying under the wood floor of subfloor. Radiant heating system cables and water tubes may also be fixed in walls and under ceiling panels. Radiant heating system cables are also been lying under the floors of kitchen, bathroom, and garages. Normally, these kind of systems installed only for floor heating purpose, where floors, rooms, and zones may be preidentified.
Time period before installation
Different people have their different opinions about the period before installation of heat tubing system under subfloor or slab concrete floor. As few people says that the heating system should atleast turnned on 72 hours before installation. It means that the slab has been in position for at least 60 days. If the slab is relatively new, the recommendation is to have the heating system turned on for 30 to 60 days before installing wood floors. The water supplied to the tubing is 160 degrees, that is high yield temprature.
Shall i install thermostates
Yes, why not! it is better to install three thermostate in a radiant heat zone. One should install to control the tubing water supply temperature; one to control the room temperature with different zone tempratures; and one for outside the house. To control the outside temparture to have inside condensation. These thermostate can moderate the floor temprature.
