Little Tikes Workbench

Little children tend to imitate what they see adults do. If they see you cooking meals, they will pretend they cook meals, usually with results that require a lot of clean up. If they see you working, they will imitate the activities they see you do in their own simple version.

That’s why it’s important to watch what you do or say in front of children. Being a parent involves being a role model so they imitate only the good things you do.

There are three kinds of Little Tikes workbenches. They are all of great quality. I suggest you get the one that resembles more the real one you have at home, so you can pretend you work with your child or that he lets you work with him in the same way you would if he were older.

The simplest Little Tikes workbench is the workhorse. If your child is very small, this is the one you should get. It’s the smallest and simplest of all Little Tikes workbenches, yet children love it and spend hours playing with it. It has simple tools that you push or rotate in place, making sounds.

Next, there is the Little Tikes busy builder workshop. This Little Tikes workbench is my least favorite one, although I am talking about personal taste here. The reason why I don’t like it so much is that I don’t find it colorful enough. It’s grey and dark blue. However, it is also the one that looks more like a mechanics workshop.

Lastly, my favorite Little Tikes workbench is the Swirling Sawdust Workshop. It is very colorful and it has tons of toy tools that make sounds and look very similar to the real thing. Of course, as with all Little Tikes products, they are completely safe for children.
